About Ryan Cureton



​Ryan is an artist from Union County, Monroe, North Carolina. Ryan has been drawing since holding his first pencil. As a young aspiring artist Ryan enjoyed  drawing cartoons and unique designs.

 

As an 8th grader at Monroe Middle School, Ryan was chosen to design 2 logos for his school pep club and graduation program. As Ryan entered Monroe High he was able to take drafting classes which opened a whole new world of creativity! Drafting increased Ryan's abilities as a designer and later lead him to employment as a window  treatment designer. Over the last 19 years Ryan has worked as a designer and has even been featured in national and international publications.



In 2000 when Ryan received an art kit as a Christmas gift he began watercolor painting then moving to acrylics and oils before discovering acrylic as his medium of choice.



Currently Ryan is a mixed medium artist working with watercolor, acrylic, oil, wood and fabric.
